Mercury, Mercury by Tom Crump

This project looks at the surreality of contemporary culture and our connection to nature as an other from ourselves. By physically connecting with objects and ephemera that is manmade and naturally occurring, we create a diverse dynamic. The title stems from the concept of Mercury being known as both a planet and a liquid metal, and therefore has two meanings, just as these images do.
